HIMAA Conference 2003
The Health Information Management Association of Australia extends a warm invitation to our colleagues and friends to attend the 24th Annual HIMAA Conference to be held at Darling Harbour in Sydney, Australia from 8-10 August, 2003.

BOUT THE 24TH HIMAA 2003 CONFERENCE:BUILDING BRIDGESThe Conference is the major annual professional development event for Health Information Managers and colleagues.
Conference theme:
Building BridgesThe most significant challenges facing the health sector today are quality and cost control. Changes in health insurance deregulation and privatisation as well as the increasing use of information technology are transforming health service delivery. As the focus of health care and treatment moves beyond the hospital bed, the capture and management of reliable health information becomes critical.
The Conference will address current and future issues associated with the capture, integration and dissemination of health information.
Authors are invited to submit abstracts for presentation as: research papers, case studies, workshops and posters. Your ideas for debates, a hypothetical or seminars are also welcome.

Please e-mail your abstracts as a word 97 attachment to an e-mail to Conference@... and title "HIMAA 2003 Abstract" and we will forward these to the Conference Program Committee for review.
