Re: [BlueRoller's PPS Support] polio and ms
A doctor told me several years ago that those that had polio usually became
over-achievers to show the world we were as capable as others. Having PPS it
is very important to take care of yourself. Itr seems our brain does not
tell our muscles to relax and we have to take things to help them. Also
massages help for a while. The pain patches are a big help for a quick fix.
I use a lot of Flexall 454, Ben-Gay, etc.
I also take Roxicet 5 mg, which is a narcotic pain reliever. My doctor said
she could not cure me but she would keep me comfortable. I know I work too
hard, but I am trying to find a balance. I hurt all time, but most of thre
time I can stand it pretty good.
I think of the fact I could have died when I had polio at the age of seven,
but I didn't. I can still walk and probably run if something was chasing me,
so I feel I have had many more years than I could have had.
Life is just what we make it and I want to help as many others as I can.
I love you and I understand your pain. At least we have each other that can
understand.
Be blessed, we will overcome !!!!
