RE: [BlueRoller's PPS Support] Mental fatigue AND/VS Physical fatigue/Unforgiving PPS and MS

Dear Luis, I have a theory that much of our post polio fatigue is due to
toxic residues. Somehow our bodies do not eliminate these things as well
as "normal" people do. Also there are many off gases and polutants that
the government has chosen not to protect us from. These and the residues
from all the medications we have taken are also contributing to our
fatigue. We are environmentally sensitive... We need to get rid of those
old toxins.

I wonder if activated charcoal would help you. It is what doctors ue to
stop drug overdoses and can be purchased at a health food store. My
acupuncturist gave me some "Curing Pills" which are the same thing and
very inexpensive.

Yes, we felt we had to put on a good show of being normal and that did hurt
us and wear us out, but there are also other factors to consider. There
are things that can be done to improve our situatiuons vastly.
Blessings, Sharis

Subject: [BlueRoller's PPS Support] Mental fatigue AND/VS Physical
fatigue/Unforgiving PPS and MS

Returning to this most vicious manifestation of PPS (in my case add
MS) there are days that I experience both mental and physical
fatigue. Picking up a pencil is something that requires double effort,
sometimes is hard to distinguish which is which, last time I visited
the neurologist he pointed out this manifestantion(s).
My physical fatigue is so great that sometimes just the act of
opening my eyes is an effort filled with pain.
When the mental fatigue hits home my power of concentration is
minimal tending to forget simple tasks and is almost impossible for
me to read, write, watch tv and feel like just closing my eyes and
stay like that the rest of the day.
The neurologist said something once and I got kind of mad but, later,
when I reconsidered the real meaning of his words had no other choice
but accept his words as filled with knowledge, "...you abused your
body for 60 years trying to act normal just like every other kid in
the block or school - consider that you actually destroyed your
muscles walking straight and fast, playing ball, power-walking...now
is time to pay, PPS and MS are UNFORGIVING.
Wishing all well
Luis
