Hi Jef,
thankyou for your sharing and being so direct. Let me know how the SoundBlaster records the voice. I have one in my Dell desktop and it has such a low input of the recorded voice that I had to buy an exterior sound card. Inspire 1394 with many capabilities more.
Does it record with enough volume for analysis?

I spoke with Dan this week and he likes the Sony PCM D50 which is a 24
bit 96K unit with a freq resp of 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

Bill likes the Edirol series, they make the R-09HR which is a 24 bit
96K unit with a freq resp of 20 Hz–40 kHz (±2 dB)
