Dear Biosonic Friends:

I have been working on a project for over six years and am nearing
the completion of this labor of love. I am now asking for help from
anyone who has Scientific and/or Popular Journal/News Articles,
Books, Dissertations, etc. on the use of sound, music, frequency,
vibration etc. in healing to be included in this book. It will
initially be published as a book and subsequently as a searchable
database sometime in the near future.

The book is a compilation of my years of researching and is initially
called "A Researcher's Guide to The World of Sound and Music in the
Healing Arts and Sciences". To date I have collected over 4800
references including subjects such as sound therapy, music therapy,
music medicine, psychoacoutics, vibroacoustics, bioacoustics,
cymatics, sacred geometry, spiritual practices and music, harmonics,
psycholinguistics, psychospiritual, psychoneuroimmunology,
vibrational medicine, ethnomusicology, to name a few. Many of these
references include short abstracts.

As you can see this is a rather wide overview of the field, and that
was intentional since many of these subjects overlap. When I first
started the project I was involved in creating my own independent
study curriculum because I couldn't find a program at any university
that fit what I wanted to study. Little did I know that my thirst
for knowledge would lead me to such a rich and rewarding field. My
desire in compiling this book is to make the "discovery" process for
people much easier. I believe this reference guide will be a
treasure for anyone interested in this emerging field.
