Dear Marysol,
I recently learned about this scale as well. I attempted to construct the
notes of the scale based on natural harmonic of C 528 hz using ratios. I
came up with:
G 396
a note between A flat (412.5) and A(429) 101th harmonic of C 264 : 417
C 528:
a note between E flat and D sharp (643.5) ( 155th harmonic of c 264): 639
a note between F# and G flat (742.5) ( 359th harmonic of C 264) : 741
Pythagorian A (426.7) : 852
So I agree with Marcelo. This seems rather suspect. I'm not sure how they
would have tuned to these frequencies. Also the fact that the first note of
the scale is the G, or 5th of C 528. If the fundamental was the G, the
harmonic relationships would be even more strange.
I contacted SomaEnergetics to find the source of the statement that 528hz
repairs DNA. They replied: "We think it is from Discover Magazine - don't
know what issue.

I have not as yet been able to verify this info. But here is the reprint

DNA Repair Frequency Intrigues Scientists and Religious Scholars



CLARK FORK, ID-Dr. Joseph Barber was driving home one evening when, quite
unexpectedly, a series of numbers appeared on his windshield. The
naturopathic physician, minister of the gospel, and avid biological sciences
investigator, spent the next three years researching their meaning.



History and findings are re-posted in a new book written by Harvard graduate
and public health authority Dr. Leonard Horowitz entitled, Healing Codes for
the Biological Apocalypse - a work certain to gain international attention
and the scrutiny of religious scholars, physicists, geneticists, and
musicians alike.



According to the text, Dr. Barber was intuitively and spiritually guided to
find a pattern of six repeating codes in the Book of Numbers, Chapter 7,
verses 12 through 83. When deciphered using the ancient Pythagorean method
of reducing the verse numbers to their single digit integers, the codes
revealed a series of six electromagnetic sound frequencies that correspond
to the six missing tones of the ancient Solfeggio scale. These original
sound frequencies were apparently used in the great hymn to St. John the
Baptist, along with other Gregorian chants, that church authorities say were
lost centuries ago. The chants and their special tones were believed to
impart tremendous spiritual blessings when sung in harmony during religious
masses. Physicists and musicians alike recognize some of the six tones in
this extremely unique interrelated series of electromagnetic sound
frequencies that include harmonic sequences similar to those found in the
"wedding march."



The second tone, "RE"-short for "resonare fibris" or resonance-correlates
mathematically to 144,000, the number of people predicted in the Book of
Revelation to be gathered by God to sing a special song heralding the
Messianic age.



The first note "UT-quent laxis" has a frequency of 396 cycles per second and
associated with a "magnetic field strength equal to 10-5 power gauss."



The third note, frequency 528, relates to the note "Ml" on the scale and
derives from the phrase "MI-ra gestorum" in Latin meaning "miracle."
Stunningly, this is the exact frequency used by genetic bio- chemists to
repair broken DNA-the genetic blueprint upon which life is based!
