First of all my best wishes to you Marysol for a good recovery from your
illness.
You are included in my prayers for getting a sound-health.


Secondly, to all friends receiving this mailing, I would like to bring yours
attention to my activities, since there was some information circulating on
the Tuvan throat singing festival. -

I have been teaching and performing overtone chanting (harmonic singing;
throat singing) for more than twenty years by now, next to my work as
director for choirs, and also working with singing bowls, gongs and other
instruments.

During the years I have developed my own style, and when you talk about
skill in singing the overtones, I would like you to listen to one of my
recordings that I did with my swedish ensemble called ‘TONUS’, Dreamworld
harmonics. On the first track of that CD I do sing overtones in the most
perfected way, including rhythmically, based on a sustained sound from one
thai singing bowl and accompanied by udu, a percussive claypot.
