I think the F100 series are better than the FScan,(I got the FScan for its dirp capability) and I hope their software is better than the FScant software, which is truly bad. I had to convert all of the Sutherland frequencies( formatted for F165) on an excel spreadsheet  for the FScan.(a major challenge for Lyme-brain) I'm  Mac person, but had to get a Dell with Windows XP to run the FScan and there doesn't seem to be a smooth, easy way to enter all the multi-digit freq. numbers into the FScant program. I recently got an upgraded frequency list and face two weeks of carpal tunnel if I want to actually use it!

We just got back from a 6 month trip on the road in an Airstream, and I'd run the power-dependant FScan at night, and then simply run the ABPA A2 on battery power during the day on the road to our next destination.
