I'm new to the group. I've had an APBA for 5 or so years and have never
used it to it's full potential.
It's taken me a week to wade through all the old posts and I thank
everybody for posting whatever info they had.

Santiago, there are many excellent books on dowsing, my favourites are
by Ramon Grace.
This however:

is a downloadable free instruction booklet and is worth it's weight in
gold to any beginner.
