I am a little confused. The manufacturer of the machine keeps
referring to the ABPA reading the silver halide matrix on the polaroid
600 film. There were a few posts referring to using a high quality
digital and printing it on 8 1/2 x 11 paper using 1200dpi. Obviously
there is no silver halide to read. Is that just a guess or are people
getting results with that technique.

I love my machine but pretty much use real DNA as a fingerprint just
to be sure. It is real hard to get a high quality polaroid
picture ... am I wasting my time using digital? How would the machine
read ink on paper? I don't have time to experiment to see if someone
is just guessing when they say digital works. Does anyone have
experience with this?

Thanks in advance for any responses.
Robert
