Sunday Streets is San Francisco's version of the international Ciclovia

rental, youth bike rodeo, lacrosse lessons, tennis lessons, martial arts
lessons, treasure hunting, self-guided nature walks, skating lessons, kayak
lessons, whaleboat rides, safe boating education, children's
games, hula
hoops, sitting, and even sleeping . Everything is free to the public.
Bring your family and especially a mother in your life. Sundaystreetssf.com
Time: 10am-2pm
Location: AT&T Park (Next to Caltrain Station) to Bayview Opera House.
It looks to be a gorgeous day. Last year, a group of LCIs organized and
provided lessons and advice, and we had a great time. This year, we would
like to expand it and include any LCI who wants to spend some time helping
out. It is not really organized - come as long or as short as you wish. For
new LCIs, this is a great opportunity to get some needed exposure with
experienced LCIs. Inevitably, it will also be a great place for networking
and new ideas.
Sunday Streets starts at 10am, but I will be there after about 9:30am, next
to the Volunteer sign-in booth in front of the Bayview Opera House at 3rd &
Oakdale (
http://tinyurl.com/bayview-opera-house).
I'll bring tennis balls and a pump, but if you want to bring anything else,
we'll work it out there. It would be helpful if you let me know, but you
can decide during your Sunday morning stretch and just show up.
Scan, signal, then change lanes.
