Two things on the Miner's Ravine bike path:
I am not sure if Mike has secured all the funding by now. I think the
article mentioned the construction beginning in 2007. I think it was
originally planned to start next year, so maybe not.
Also, I know they have some trouble with one of the residents where
the bike path is going by. Might be another reason why things are
getting delayed.

Folsom, that's a pretty good commute! I don't think your husband has
signed up, so if he's interested... It'd be nice to grow in number so
next time there'll be an article somwhere we can be a well-represented
group, not only just above a dozen...

I can't wait for the city to finish the Miner's Ravine to Royer park bike trail extension. It's going to run right behind my house so I'll be able to cut out...

... Yeah, unfortunately my neighbor is probably the one holding it up. He owns a large swath of land down by the creek and has "No Tresspassing" signs posted ...

... to the ... blocking it. I think that's a dispute that dates back some 30 years. Apparently the City annexed some land of his and he's been grumpy ever...
