I can't wait for the city to finish the Miner's Ravine to Royer park bike trail extension.  It's going to run right behind my house so I'll be able to cut out riding down the scarier parts of Atlantic and Harding with my 3 year old.  =)  Good article.  I can't remember if my husband officially joined the group too, but he commutes from here to Folsom about 3x/week.

Two things on the Miner's Ravine bike path: I am not sure if Mike has secured all the funding by now. I think the article mentioned the construction beginning...

... Yeah, unfortunately my neighbor is probably the one holding it up. He owns a large swath of land down by the creek and has "No Tresspassing" signs posted ...

... to the ... blocking it. I think that's a dispute that dates back some 30 years. Apparently the City annexed some land of his and he's been grumpy ever...
