My wife loves the dry heat. I must admit I'm used to 'older' communities, and we seem to be at the cutting edge of Rocklin, Sunset and Stanford Ranch. I'd happily trade a Del Sushi or Tacos R Us for a little family place.
We moved from Santa Barbara (Goleta actually). "Bummer!" is what the Safeway clerk said. Well, not if you want to buy a house...
That's our eventual goal, although we're not exactly sure where and when. We're waiting for the market to settle, and to make sure my employment arrangements work long term. I work for UCSB and telecommute from a home office.

Welcome Rich!
How do you like Rocklin so far? Where did you move from?
Lots of great bicycle people here, hope you enjoy the group :)

I've never stopped cycling from the time I first climbed on at age 4.

little bit of mt biking, although I only have a road bike now, some
road racing in the 90s, and my newest joy- towing Ben in the trailer!
