Actually, be surprised if you get honked at. I have
been using the underpass a few times (it wasn't a
frequent route for me, so hard to judge - maybe 25 to
30 times?). I have been honked at exactly once, and
that was from a car going the other way!
Generally people left plenty of space when passing
(the lane is too narrow to share so they have to pass
on the second lane). Most of the times I made a left
turn and that was never a problem either. I even have
ridden the underpass slowly, as when the trailer was
loaded up with goodies from TJ there was no way to
ride it fast.

I do think the dangers are a bit exaggerated,b ut I
agree now with a sign it'll be even better!

I've always ridden through the underpass and not had any problems with vehicles or law enforcement. It will be nice to have a sign posted that alerts vehicles...
