I'm the President of the Lincoln Hills Cyclist. You should be aware of
this article in the Sacramento Bee, March 1, "G" Section, page 3,
"Police: Roadways pranks pose dangers... "
"Two cyclists from the Sun City Cycling Club (in Roseville)
encountered fishing line across the bike path near Blue Oaks Blvd. A
motorist also encountered clear plastic across the roadway on Country
Club Drive, causing the antenna and windshield to break. The cyclist
front wheels hit the fishing line causing them to fall. Fortunately,
the line was not at chest or head level." It appears both incidents
happen within the last week. The motorist filed a report and the
cyclist contacted RPD via e-mail.
I passed this information to my membership today. I hope this does not
turn-on any copy-cats or more creative bad guys in Roseville or any of
the local communities.
The Roseville Police are working on this and can be contacted at

Any questions, please call... and be careful out there...
