I usually don't ride in that area and am not familiar with it, but I
had to run an errand close by, so I checked out parts of it:

There seem to be two trails: One starts at Crowder Ln and White Mills
Crescent, but it seems to just stop, with no access back to the street
(effectively making it a dead-end trail).

Then there is a second trail, when you continue White Mills Crescent
to Vineyard and make a right. That is the trail that goes to Walerga
and I assume is the one you were talking about. I didn't check it out
farther south as my errands were asking to get refrigerated. Hopefully
I can get out that way again soon - but to answer your question:
From Baseline you can take Crowder, which is a substandard width lane
(that is, not wide enough to safely share witha care, so you can ride
in the center, effectively making it a 10ft (or however wide) bike
lane. There also doesn't seem to be much traffic (maybe that's
different during commute hours?). And then White Mills Crescent and
Vineyard, and the trail to Walerga.

Hope that helps.
