Hi Everyone - A representative from Valley Vision will be at the Transportation Commission meeting on October 17, 2006, at 7pm, in the Council Chambers at 311 Vernon Street. This will be a sneak preview of the upcoming SACOG Tall Order event. You will become familiar with the process used to prepare the Metropolitan Transportation Plan and find out why it is important for you to attend the SACOG Tall Order Event.
 
The SACOG Tall Order event will be November 16, 2006 at the Rocklin Sunset Center. This is an opportunity for you "citizen planners" to let your elected officials know how best to invest the $30 billion in transportation funding that will be available to the region over the next few decades. Should the priority be roads, light rail, transit, bikeways? Let SACOG know what you think. The attached link provides more information. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Mike
