This looks like a terrific class, Bjorn. Thanks for chasing down the details and setting it up for us.

Subject: [bikingroseville] Bike Classes - the wait is over!

Ok, I finally cleared most of the hurdles to offer the bike classes
from the League of American Bicyclists that I mentioned a while back.
The class should help:

- to ride with more confidence
- to learn the concept of vehicular cycling
- to realize that most crashes can be reasonably easy avoided.
- to get tips on commuting, bike maintenance, clothing etc

The format:
It's an 8 hour class, spread over two Saturdays. It consist of
classroom work, parking lot drills and on-road riding. A written test
will give you a chance to verify what you learned.

When and where:
Currently one class is scheduled for April 1st and 8th (9am to 1pm
both days). It's inside the Raley's grocery store at 1950 Douglas Blvd.

Cost:
Lucky you, SABA is offering a rebate, so it's free. You pay the
regular $50 and will get it back when you complete the course. Note
however that there is a limit of 30 people for the region. As I know
other classes in Sac have filled and I do not know how many spots are
left - better hurry :)
NOTE: If you have already told me you are interested in the class then
you are already signed up for the rebate. No further action necessary.

If you are interested in taking this class please email me.
If you are interested but can't make that particular date, please
email me anyway.

I'm interested too. Would recumbent trikes be welcome? Thanks, Kristine...

... Sure. I think most things will apply equally. I have never ridden a recumbent (well, once for about 1 min), so from my perspective the biggest difference...
