As the inaugural Tour of California Bicycle Race approaches,
Sacramento journalist and author James Raia will discuss the new race,
which will be held Feb. 19-26 from San Francisco to Redondo Beach,
Calif. Raia will introduce the route of the event, the teams involved
and the cyclists who will likely be race favorites.

Raia, co-author of Tour de France For Dummies, has covered the past
nine editions of the Tour de France for several newspapers, including
the Sacramento Bee and Miami Herald. Raia, who will narrate a slide
presentation of the Tour de France, is also publisher of the free
electronic newsletters, Tour de France Times and Endurance Sports
