Hi gang!
Over the last couple of months, I would say that I averaged about 50% of the
time, maybe even less, than the time I would ordinarily spend working out.
Poor eating choices and less than stellar fitness efforts have led to the
return of that that frumpy body and expanding waist line.
I'm still running ragged on a project that has me mentally fatigued and I've
been getting up later, often skipping my early workout, providing less than
a "10" effort, making excuses upon excuses. I was feeling a bit
discouraged, as to how much I have slipped back into some bad, easy, habits
during these last couple of months when someone forwarded me this picture.
This before and after picture of Arnold did put a smile on my face, but, it
also acts as a great reminder of the need for daily re-dedication of our
health and fitness commitments.
I, myself, am about to try and recharge my BFL batteries and get back to the
proper nutrition and workout. ...Maybe even strike up some photos for an
official challenge.
My "why" for crossing the abyss has not changed, but, somehow I let life get
in the way of living a healthier life. Someday, when I can reflect over
what has happened to knock me so far off course, I'll try and share that,
maybe to help another from stepping on that slippery, well greased slope
that returns to many of my bad habits.
I'm still reading all the postings, so keep up the great effort everyone.
