Breastfeeding Canada News is an "announcement only" list for persons interested in breastfeeding promotion and support in Canada. This may be lactation professionals, health professionals working with families pre or post-natally, and professional and amateur breastfeeding advocates, including interested moms.

The focus of this list is breastfeeding, and parenting practices that support breastfeeding such co-sleeping, natural birth, attachment parenting, etc.

This is NOT a discussion list. You will NOT be able to reply to messages that you receive from the list. (This will keep the message volume low).

Messages posted will include: New breastfeeding research, and how it is reported by Canadian media. Breastfeeding workshops and conferences in Canada. New government reports that mention breastfeeding. Announcements of breastfeeding items in the Canadian media. Breastfeeding events such as WBW and the Quintessence Challenge. Activities and newsletters from Cdn breastfeeding organizations. Lobbying and advocacy efforts by organizations and individuals in Canada. Breastfeeding news from around the world that impacts Canadians, such as items in the U.S. media.
