The arteriogram shows more than clogged arteries/vessels. It shows
the corkscrew like configuration that is indicative of Buerger's
Disease. The arteriogram does not show the cause. While there is not
nearly enough known about Buerger's, the cause is attributed to
smoking. The studies show that the very overwhelming majority of
sufferers are smokers and also that the symptoms almost without
exception will decrease upon quitting.
