My Quitting Smoking Update   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #320 of 875 |
If anyone is curious about my progress:

I can hardly believe it's been 5 days since I declared I was quitting
smoking. I have been doing really well and notice that I rarely even
think of cigarettes. A few things trigger the desire: driving, being
around others that are smoking, and certain times of the day and
night, but I rarely think about them otherwise.

I have smoked a total of 2 cigarettes in the past 5 days and they were
mostly out of curiousity...I was mad at myself for being curious too!

I am trying to adjust to new routines but overall, I am pretty proud
of myself. I believe I can already see changes in my fingers (they
aren't so dark) and I don't seem to be hurting as badly in my legs,
etc. Must be doing something good to my body for once!

I'll keep you posted.

Carolyn
