Not enough people have this disease to warrant much
research. My sister-in-law who has it is being given
heparin and another blood thinner. . .I don't know if
it is due to this disease, but she has had two masses
- one in her right abdomen which was removed twice in
the last 6 weeks leaving an open wound, and now has
one in her thigh. She is in surgery this a.m. to get
her 12th surgery on her legs . .she is loosing both
knees today. She smokes like a stack and won't quit .
.another story. . .second hand smoke is just as
harmful . . She is a wonderful person, but can't
quit smoking. And now we are watching her die.
