Beurger's is caused by nicotine and cold atmosphere does affect it. I
was working in a produce warehouse when i was diagnosed and was told
that it did not help me at all. I was able to quit smoking and have been
relatively pain (and medication) free for about 3 years. I still work in
a cold warehouse and as long as i don't have to work in the freezer (at
-15 degrees) i seem to do all right. I also live in Nebraska which can
be pretty cold.
Beurger's never truly goes away but if you can stay away from all
nicotine the symptoms will subside greatly.
peace,
joe
