FLU? * Maybe there is another common denominator? Whether or not a particular virus is found, doesn't mean it is the cause of all that ails you. There is another cause of flu symptoms that the CDC should list on their website & consider in all cases of flu symptoms. See if there is blood in urine, and whether or not the FATIGUE is autoimmune action on the red blood cells. Remember 1918 was at the end of WWI. I suspect the chemical in explosions blows around and gets into the eyes of people. And that this goes back to the mid 1300s. I suspect 2-butoxyethanol may be there and in gun cleaners, and home cleaning products, too.
. . . & a couple of times throughout the day, it seemed she had congestion & it appeared to be getting worse throughout the day.
What I suspect should at least be considered. Was there any BUTYL at home or at work? (She would have to be very observant as to EXACTLY WHEN this started)
My thoughts shared with a 25 year old Marine on a health forum just now: (He had heart palpitations & shortness of breath when running)
Sounds like you have the anemia that's hard to find. The kind that is referenced in 'gulf war syndrome' or Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome. Part of the definition is that doctors do not know what the fatigue is.
Besides rapid heart beat and shortness of breath do you also have 'the chills?' Do you have an abnormal body temp? high or low? Abnormal blood sugar? (That IS one thing easy for doctors to find) Abnormal blood pressure? http://www.valdezlink.com/pages/bodytemp.htm
This anemia is very serious. You can easily be exposed in many household cleaning products. Butyl or 2-butoxyethanol does not have to be disclosed, and often is not
Exposure looks like 'the flu' but can be as simple as a cough, a rash, 'the sniffles' farting, diarrhea ... moisture under one's nose (loosening of the sinuses) Do you have headaches? Do you have any short term memory loss? http://www.valdezlink.com/re/thechills.htm
I am concerned for a little boy age 2 who is very sensitive to this ... At his young age he can be maxed out on this chemical ... and when a runny nose starts his mom should immediately ask .... what have I been cleaning with ...? Where have I taken this little one? ... who has come over? WHAT WAS DIFFERENT... than before the sniffles started?
Give the doctors a clue and ask them to ask the lab tech to LOOK at the RED Blood cells and tell them everything about them that they can.
I would get doctor's orders NOT to run. One vet had serious fatigue issues and was trying out for another civilian job in the Sherrif's office of which part of it was strenuous excercise. He had shortness of breath and ended being taken to the ER. He died. I suspect he was dealing with autoimmune hemolytic anemia and that he expended all his available oxygen during exercise, and the oxygen could not be replenished quickly enough ... and he died. This was Jan 18, 2009 in El Paso, TX Cesar Arreola became dizzy, light headed with shortness of breath. He was 37 when he died. http://www.valdezlink.com/gwv/diesafterworkout2.htm#is
See if you can find a doctor who is interested This chemical harms soldiers throughout the past century especially during wars HELPs ... or find a doctor who is humble (Ask the nurses) http://www.valdezlink.com/re/vets/helps.htm

RE: harm of an organic solvent, pesticide, poison, teratogen, neurotoxin, autoimmune & cancer causing chemical
C6H14O2/CH3(CH2)2CH2OCH2CH2OH
Dear Senator Lisa Murkowski,
Thank you for sharing my concerns with the Dept of Defense regarding the harm of Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether or 2-butoxyethanol ... BUTYL for short. Although the gulf war vets have many exposures, the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup workers (BIOREMEDIATION workers who sprayed Inipol EAP 22) have this as their primary exposure and there were 1000 young men. What happened to them (1989) has vital significance for medicine today.
And to today's military and to civilians as well. But the Public does not know what happened to them. They can make no comparisons. *
Many are dead already, just as many gulf war vets are dead. And many others affected, too! (Non exclusive harm)
Too much exposure looks like the flu. A virus should not be suspect for most of the 'flu symptoms.' EGBE causes one's body's immune system to rapidly attack them. The proof that this chemical is the culprit is the anemia of CFIDS that it causes ... but which doctors do not generally find. (Too many things going on at the same time prevents discovery). Butyl exposure causes infinite variations. The numbers doctors look at can go high (with acute exposure or early on) to low (later years).
Both Senators Kennedy and Byrd would be helped if their doctors understood THIS anemia. It is more life threatening than any other autoimmune issue or cancer that subsequently shows up. Yes, it would be the FATIGUE that caused Senator Kennedy's recent seizure (lack of oxygen) and doctors should look at the red blood cells. They are not the right type of red blood cells, as would be expected per 'the numbers' Gulf war vet, Cesar Arreola, became dizzy with shortness of breath after strenuous exercise. Dies 1/18/09 at age 37. I suspect he used up the oxygen that his red blood cells had to offer, and then died from the lack of oxygen (THE FATIGUE, THE ANEMIA) ... when the red blood cells could not easily replace it.
I also suspect this as the most probable cause of Jett Travolta's death: advance anemia after near death from Kawasaki syndrome when he was 2 years old (exposure was this chemical in carpet cleaning) ... would lead to a very advance anemia years later. **
The autoimmune metabolic causing chemical should also be suspect for the cause of Autism. I was noticing in UK research that there is an autoimmune metabolic aspect to Autism & nervous system issues would be a part of it. The UK has better research on this chemical causing a multitude of cancers, as well * An EVOS worker, Richard Nagel, has looked into the French Inipol and said there was research on what happened to those workers and that cancers were a stand out harm. Even our President has been touched by the type of cancers this chemical would cause, with very possible exposures to his mom & his grandparents *
There is research that shows that there is a preponderance of Autism among gulf war vets. And since I suspect EGBE for the primary harm of these vets .... so also do I suspect it for Autism in general * and also for the epidemic of cancers and autoimmune metabolic issues such as Syndrome X and diabetes (only a side effect that is easy to find).
We need to help today's Vets as they are at risk even more than those of other war eras. We need to be looking for what is alike for every war era from WWI, WWII, Vietnam War *, Korean War, Panama & Somalia conflicts, Gulf War I, Iraqi war, and that in Afghanistan. Any and all autoimmune issues for them and for their children (Serious birth defects from this teratogen chemical). My condolences go out to all who have had too much exposure to this chemical ... which also I suspect * for SSG James Alford of Karnack, TX who died last month of 'mad cow disease' ... actually the most serious autoimmune issue that trumps even ALS, Parkinson's, MS. www.valdezlink.com/pages/autoimmune.htm There are so many autoimmune issues that some of them don't even have names yet *
In advance anemia you start to see very high white blood cell counts (not likely an infection for these - an anemia sign) and what do white blood cells do in a system that has become autoimmune? Attack even our bones (Degenerative Disc Disease is often an autoimmune issue.) * I see Senator Kennedy walking with a cane ... also our Dick Cheney, Former Justice Rehnquist, etc
I hope doctors will consider looking at the same medical info in a new light. I can't think of anything worse than letting this chemical continue to harm us ... and for us to give more chemical exposures (often even medications) hoping for help. I suppose our health care costs could bankrupt us all by themselves. Continuing on the road of 'helps' we have been on would be a big mistake. A new direction will definitely be in order.
Since EPA lifted all restrictions on this chemical at the lobbying of chemical companies in 2003, I suspect EGBE should be suspect for contributing to the rapid acceleration of global warming and the melting of the polar ice caps. *
I thank you for your interest and I hope that your influence, and what Alaska can contribute to our Nation's health information will help this chemical from continuing to harm our soldiers and our babies & our moms and dads and the hardworking people who are most at risk (Those who clean, who paint, who WORK) Worst exposure is vapors in your eyes. Everyone also needs to understand 'secondhand solvent exposure'
Beyond poisoning of our Troops and not knowing by what ... the next most troubling issue is the damage to the children. The birth defects *, the inability to have a full term baby (or any baby at all) ... the loss of hearing, the loss of eyesight, loss of sense of taste and smell, the loss of touch' ... even short term memory loss. Study for class & know what you need to know the night before, and forget 80% by the next day. There are widespread implications for Alzheimer's for those who will need special education. The burden upon our families ... upon our schools ... upon our healthcare system ... and upon our Military ... should not be. Even our pets are at risk *
We need new laws of disclosure. As it is now, companies do not have to disclose to housewives what is in the cleaning products they use. We should consider banning this chemical and if not learn to avoid it! *
The chemical exposure that would cause Kawasaki Syndrome (BUTYL or 2-butoxyethanol) is also a cause of serious anemia. I suspect this advanced autoimmune hemolytic anemia was the more probable cause of death. It is not generally found by doctors, but it can be.
Why horrible headaches when there is no brain tumor?
A primary cause of HORRIBLE HEADACHES, abnormal blood sugar, body temp, BP
& loss of vision .... & loss of hearing * ... & loss of sense of taste/smell *
Question ... what would be causing the horrible headaches ... even continuing until after the brain tumor was removed and non recurring for 5 years (it was a pituitary tumor). posted by shais brain tumor
I don't expect an answer, as my views would not be 'run of the mill' and will likely be discarded.
I have noticed that there is a very common chemical exposure that causes flu symptoms when people get exposed to it. Research says BUTYL (or most common form, 2-butoxyethanol) causes serious harm to blood and blood forming organs, damages kidneys and liver, and causes leukemia, brain tumors, tumors and cancers about anywhere.
It is easy to be exposed as it is a pesticide too strong even in home cleaning products; it is in paint; it is in dry cleaning and plastics manufacturing; AND you can be exposed 'second hand' if you are too near someone who is overexposed and breathing the chemical in their respiration to get into your eyes.
I suspect if headaches that are pretty horrible do not subside (has nothing to do with brain tumor the majority of the time) ... then there is a serious likelihood of continued exposure, And add on symptoms like that of Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome, CFS, FM, ME. (Exact variation of no concern). This chemical causes the body to go autoimmune *, and the numbers on blood work can go above or below normal and be what this chemical can do.
With real severe exposure other cancers, especially pancreatic cancer show up, which is what happened for my friend. And happened in 2008 for Ron Davis, MD, for Randy Pausch, PhD, who have died this year (more probably from the anemia than from the cancer per se), and now Patrick Swayze is seriously ill
Medical science should also list exposure to 2-butoxyethanol for causing flu symptoms ... should realize that for this group of people a high white blood cell count is another anemia sign, not an infection nor lymphoma necessarily; that what is often blamed on one of the side effects (elevated blood sugar or diabetes) is simply that ... a side effect of exposure to 2-butoxyethanol exposure either now or in the family background. This chemical should also be looked into for cause of many birth defects (it is a teratogen chemical). It affects so many parts of the body, (Where it shows up first is irrelevant) not metastasis! The worst pesticide our Soldiers have been (& are being) exposed to... as well as civilians. No wonder the epidemiology lines are becoming so blurred
... and I suspect it is the cause of 'gulf war syndrome' and the primary cause of harm to the Vietnam Vets, etc, etc http://www.valdezlink.com/re/achemicaltosuspect.htm Those who studied the harm to our Vietnam vets got the 'list of what ails them right, but did not find the PRIMARY cause of harm
These are my opinions based on looking at groups with known and suspected exposure. For those with DIRECT exposure and THE Fatigue ... that is the very proof that Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether or similar chemical is the cause of ALL that ails them.
I think brain tumors and other cancers are a 'side effect' of the harmful component in Inipol EAP 22 ... and same chemical in Simple Green ... many cleaning products

THE LIST' per research of what happened to the Vietnam Vets - For Sure and Suspected - What happened to 500,000 soldiers
the propellant with Dioxin is most probably 2-butoxyethanol
Soldiers running into the 'sprayed areas'
were also being exposed to the Propellant with the Dioxin

To the American Medical Association: Regarding: a chemical exposure to suspect - CANCER C6H14O2/CH3(CH2)2CH2OCH2CH2OH
Happy Birthday, Dr. Ron Davis. A most probable cause of cancers is exposure to 2-butoxyethanol. www.valdezlink.com
It targets the kidneys and liver and the blood and blood forming organs ... every organ/ gland. It is the AUTOIMMUNE causing chemical. Stop one's body from being autoimmune & it is the best place to start.
ALSO avoid exposure. Just being around someone who has been overexposed can get this complex alcohol from their breath into one's eyes and also be an exposure. Suspect EGBE exposure for the primary harm of soldiers in every war era this past century and for 'the bird flu' Suspect it for the real cause of Pres FDR's death.
Suspect it for many side effects of which blood sugar abnormalities (high or low), blood pressure abnormalities (high or low) and body temperature (high or low) could be part of autoimmune hypothalamus.
What we blame on diabetes should be blamed on the chemical that causes abnormal blood sugar, flu, and in the civilian population: Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome. THE CFIDS, CFS, FM populations have too many things that are 'off' so the 'numbers' that are too high such as in RDW, for instance, are also suppose to be 'low' when arthritis is present, etc
Many things that are blamed on cancers such as pancreatic, liver, lung, NHL or brain tumors ... should be blamed on the primary chemical that would cause such
FIND the FATIGUE which is the idiopathic anemia that would prove that 2-butoxyethanol is the underlying cause of harm!
The flu is not a virus, Dioxin is not the primary chemical exposure that harmed the Vietnam Vets; high white blood cell counts may also be a clue to the fatigue (AIHA or IMHA) that 2-butoxyethanol causes.
Suspect multiple exposures to this chemical for the cause of 'gulf war syndrome'
Do WWII Vets, Vietnam Vets, Korean Vets, Gulf war vets and civilians with CFIDS look alike? Do they look like the Exxon Valdez oil spill 'bioremediation' workers? Do they look like our soldiers who fight in wars today?
The chemical I am concerned about causes short term memory loss, and that is a stand out harm. I think it is part of the autoimmune Central Nervous System Issues.
Central Nervous System Effects: Difficulty Concentrating Short Term Memory Loss Difficulty Sleeping Constantly Irritable - ANGER outbursts - Paranoia Depression Suicidal Tendencies
Mimics True Psychiatric Disorder with strong exposure (Military calls it PTSD?)
and AUTOIMMUNE issues * such as lipid changes, autoimmune metabolic issues – weight issues – belly fat - balance issues (vertigo) Severe eyesight loss; hearing loss*; brain tumors may start & grow rapidly; loss of taste, smell; periodontal disease
AND FATIGUE that hides out. (look for Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia if 2-butoxyethanol exposure signs are there. AIHA or IMHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia)
Something of interest I just thought about. For the other symptoms of Chronic Fatigue that often goes with this anemia, they say it isn't easy to find. Tests keep coming back normal. Many times you hear this on Mystery Diagnosis TV program/s
If someone only has one thing wrong (& a parent didn't have CFIDS type symptoms)
Then - a test on something will go UP for one ailment
and then DOWN for the other ailment
... Two things wrong, but tests look normal
They say random distribution of weight RDW is a sign of hemolytic anemia when it is elevated (& other things) ... but it is lower when there is rheumatoid arthritis ... So a person who had both ailments wouldn't look like there was a problem with either, per this test at least
Another fatigue sign that I found very interesting is that a very elevated white blood cell count may be a fatigue sign. Sometimes it indicates an infection; sometimes it is indicative of lymphoma ... but that it would be a fatigue sign blew me away! (Red blood cells in Autoimmun Hemolytic Anemia are made in the bone marrow as are the white blood cells. Although the info I read said that it had nothing to do with the AIHA per se, the production of WBCs were stimulated as they are made in the bone marrow also.

You can read about Rituxan at www.pubmed.gov. My Dr. didn't want to use any of the other treatments on me because I have three other autoimmune diseases and he said it would cause me more problems then it would do me any good. Rituxan worked for me three times now and why change up. Look into it and if need be bring it up to your Dr. If they want to know more info on it tell them to look on the University of Maryland website in the US. My hematologist is Dr. Meyer Heyman. He is a brilliant Dr. I am sure if your Dr. had questions and needed to talk to him about using Rituxan he would be glad to help them. I was on of his first patients to use it and one of the first when it came out.
I would like to share with Dr Meyer R. Heyman the chemical to suspect for AIHA and many autoimmune issues and cancers: 2-butoxyethanol. Relapse can be from new exposure in paint, in home cleaning products www.valdezlink.com/acute.htmvaldez@...
Elizabeth1979: I was stationed at Tallil AB at the beginning of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM in 2003. I got sick while deployed, but not sick like I am now. I have been to so many doctors especially over the last 6 months. I am very ill now and feel like my life will never be the same. I experience pretty much all the same symptoms you describe. I really thought I was going crazy. I am only 27 years old and some days I feel like I'm going on 90. I have days where I can barely lift my 8 month old 17 lb daughter. Those days are especially emotional, because I don't feel like I can be the mother or wife I use to be. None of the doctors can figure out what is wrong with me. I am seeing a doctor now who seems determined to figure out what is wrong. My platelet, white blood, and red blood counts have been all over the place since I have been back. I am suppose to have a biopsy done of my intestine at my next appointment. I change careers and now I am having a hard time keeping up. I feel like I'm killing myself some days, just to take care of my children. I would like to correspond with you and get any information the doctors have given you, and any new information you may get. I will do the same for you. I feel like it is going to take a miracle to find out what is wrong at this point. I am still hopeful that there might at least be a treatment. I need my life back. My husband was also at Tallil AB. He has had some type of allergic skin condition since he has been back. It is called herticarea.
As you see ... USA doesn't think this chemical is all that harmful - Not true - IT IS HARMFUL
A chemical to AVOID!
Be careful what they clean your room with - cleaning products have strong concentrations of 2-butoxyethanol ... which I suspect for the harm you share about IF you notice serious FATIGUE, memory loss, the CFIDS symptoms
The UK has the best MSDS list that shows the cancers * to suspect, probably others if a doctor were to ask
There is a teratogen chemical that can affect children of those who are strongly exposed to it (& the proof is the red blood cell fatigue it causes)
I noticed that Michael Tylo was born in 1948 (a baby boomer) Did he have a parent in the WWII or in manufacturing? &/or
Did he himself serve in the Vietnam or Korean war/s?
I notice that he is also the father of Hunter Tylo's daughters and son Mickey
I strongly suspect that he or a parent could have been affected by the Ethylene Glycol monoButyl Ether chemical, and if so, he would have the CFIDS symptoms with FATIGUE that is often overlooked
It would therefor be an explanation for their son's & daughter's health issues. Nervous system autoimmune issues and even cancers of most kinds: blood and blood forming organs, liver and kidneys are what it targets. Thankfully not everyone gets everything it does; however, there is a recognizable pattern, especially short term memory loss and extreme irritability (Many of these people end up divorced)
A chemical everyone could be exposed to .... & which should be avoided: 2-butoxyethanol (modern name since 1930's)
___ Hormonal imbalances (high or low) Blood sugar high or low
___ Change in body temperature (high or low)
___ Blood pressure abnormalities (high or low)
Check kidneys as they send a hormone to bone marrow to make red blood cells and kidneys help make strong bones, too
www.valdezlink.com/rbc_size_shape.htm
___ Horrible Headaches * & other things in CFIDS, CFS
and it is an AUTOIMMUNE issue
a doctor shares with doctors -
Why glyconutrients help an autoimmune system
www.valdezlink.com/pages/newnutritionparadigm.htm
Caused by exposure to EGBE ... even before one's birth
Sort of a civilian 'gulf war syndrome'
Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup workers and those they were around, would be able to `prove' that this chemical IS the cause of `gulf war syndrome'Soldiers also had exposure to 2-butoxyethanol and 2-2-butoxyethanol also known as ethylene glycol monobutyl ether
Look for the pattern of CFIDS;
Find this chemical's anemia
Look for autoimmune issues – even most of the cancers especially blood and blood forming organs, central nervous system, KIDNEYS and LIVER
Many times those with this fatigue collapse from lack of blood ... or the advance fatigue of EGBE ... not a heart attack Just because the death certificate says the cause of death was a 'heart attack' does not mean that is the case. I think about my grandfather who died 10 years before I was born ... when my mom was 23 in 1935. He was a well-liked farmer in Mississippi and I remember my mother saying the same things you hear today, "Oh, he had diabetes ... and refused to eat right, so he died at the age of 52" Death certificate says he died from a heart attack. It is also admitted by the chemical companies that 2-butoxyethanol has been in widespread use since the 1930's. How he ran into this chemical, I do not know; but I STRONGLY suspesct it. I also suspect this chemical exposure and worse for the death of Pres FDR in 1945 ...
I was looking through this info on the FATIGUE I suspect EVOS workers have ... the fatigue doctors don't usually find... and one side effect of Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia is very high white blood cell count. One worker said that he had that, and the doctors were stumped as to what it meant. Have your doctor/s find out everything they can about the red blood cells and any autoimmune issues, (especially AUTOIMMUNE METABOLIC issues), tumors, etc
One person with diagnosis of low red blood cell anema also has a lowering platelet count. There is such a thing as an autoimmune action against platelets.
Quote:
ITP is the destruction of "thrombocytes" (clotting cells) by the immune system in much the same manner as RBCs are destroyed in AIHA
Another shares that his blood is 'globbing' together ... another sign of AIHA
What do our school janitors use to clean bathrooms?
Dale S:
I have been researching glycol ether poisoning because I have been sick for about 10 months showing that I have a platelet
dysfunction. I began by having severe bruising and knots come up under my skin and my bruises would bleed out under the skin. My hemoglobin dropped after several months and I ended up having a blood transfusion when the hemoglobin got to 7.0. It has not dropped anymore since then but the bruising, along with fatigue, hematomas, eye vessels bursting, rapid heart beat and anxiety from it all has remained. I started researching once the doctor told me that my condition had to be acquired and I decided to research the chemicals that I was using (until recently) where I clean at night on a part time basis. The cleaner that I was using contains glycol ether (2-butoxyethanol). Of course, I use this on 18 bathrooms three times a week in a bathroom stall (confined space) and at first I didn't use any gloves when I cleaned, not until I worried that I may be catching something from all the children that go to the Church School I started wearing gloves. I will know sometimes in August if my platelets have changed any to determine if it could have been this chemical. I will probably need assistance with getting worker's comp to pay for all my pain, suffering, loss of income on my first job, and medical expenses because of this possible exposure. If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate them

Do you have blood in urine?
Do you have anything going on with the red blood cells that is autoimmune?
ask the lab tech to LOOK at the red blood cells
The research on 2-butoxyethanol says it causes hemolytic anemia *
Check kidneys and Liver, too
and maybe do manual instead of computer tests
Red blood cells could be on the immature side with fragility of membranes
Blood in urine is significant for a particular chemical poisoning I suspect for the cause of CFIDS, CFS, FM and the primary harm to the Veterans of our wars from WWII to the present.
I'm just realizing why blood in urine, damage to red blood cells, and even kidneys and liver are related ... and all autoimmune issues if from 2-butoxyethanol
And of course the liver plays a vital role in red blood cells & making blood, too
Those harmed by the benzene in oil should come down with aplastic anemia & notice a drop in white and platelet and red blood cells. I would think that some workers of the Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup could have both autoimmune hemolytic anmeia AND autoimmune aplastic anemia. True for workers after the 'gulf war, too' 2-butoxyethanol is an exposure for both of these groups, and if we knew what happened to the EVOS workers, we would see the parallels.
Can you get your doctors comments on liver, kidneys and red blood cells? Ask them if you have blood in urine. Sometimes I think they dismiss it because it doesn't match what they think the blood workup is showing. Thus, they don't think they need to look at the red blood cells.
I think someday Congress will ban this chemical from use in anything. Right now it is in paints and cleaning compounds of all kinds. Hurting our babies, our pets and everyone.
Why I think it is the fatigue, diabetes, brain tumor, cancer, birth defect, autoimmune causing chemical and the cause of 'gulf war syndrome' (Vietnam, Korean, WWII vets, too)
What happened to our soldiers came on faster, because they kept getting exposed ... but it is not a different exposure than other mililtary time periods or than what civilians get, too
I suspect too much exposure to 2-butoxyethanol gets to baby ... some prior to birth that is in the family line ... some directly ... too strong in many cleaning products ...
and vapors get in baby's eyes ...
and second hand
Someone strongly exposed to 2-butoxyethanol breathes it out in their breath & it gets in baby's eyes ... not a matter of suffocating ... a matter of organs shutting down ... first the liver & then other organs. Can happen at age 10 as easily as at age 10 days or 10 months
Baby would have blood in urine ... and red blood cells that looked ragged and beat up ... with too much direct or second hand exposure ... not for that in the family line, though.
The Exxon Valdez oil spill cleanup workers directly exposed to 2-butoxyethanol could prove this harm ... I suspect it is the cause of 'gulf war syndrome' http://www.valdezlink.com/evos/afteroil.htm
Do you ever direct people to the glycoscience.org website? It has 350,000 research articles and reports on conditions and the science of glyconutrients. I think there should be some new studies where they used them in-vitro for babies that had developemental problems. It showed improvement or resolution while the baby was still inside mom. The biggest reason for that is the trillions of stem cells that it stimulates to be produced.
More and more women are having complications and premature births. I think the new stats are 1 in 5 are premature. Completely unexceptable. But as most of us, naively, destroy our ability to heal by eating empty foods and exposing ourselves to the most synthetic chemicals the world has ever known, it has to be even worse when we are trying to create a baby from scratch. Sort of making a cake with no flour, and then being extremely disappointed when it doesn't turn out right.
When people consider nutrition, the general population just thinks RDA or recommended daily allowances in foods. They don't consider where it is synthetic, whether the body will actually use it, or if it is in therapeutic levels. The nutrition that is the most important is glyconutrients, antioxidants, organic multivitamins & minerals, phytosterols, and essential fatty acids, etc...
Most doctors don't know this stuff, there is too much information, and it is highly technical to convey why you need it. So how are we to ever convince the average suffering Joe or Jane?
Dr. Patrick Garrett Alternative Wellness Center Wichita, Kansas 67206
Probably came along after some type of flu symptoms. Right?
They should be just part of the Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome, and you probably have FATIGUE that the doctors don't pin-point.
It is also hormonal. I heard of a man who had them as a teen ... then they disappeared as he went into puberty. Another woman explained that her horrible headaches went away when she passed menopause.
I agree. Meds can hurt more than help. I suspect the headaches ... the CFIDS ... the diabetes that often shows up at some point .... is from a particular chemical exposure: 2-butoxyethanol.
Some explanation here:
Headaches like this can appear to run in families ... because people have been poisoned by this type of chemical for many decades ... and especially at each war period: WWI, WWII, Vietnam war, Korean war, Gulf War ... today ... at home and in the military and in industry.
A lot is known about it from those who do research; almost nothing is known about it by doctors. If they learned about any chemical's effects ... they should learn about this one. I suspect the fatigue they are looking for is autoimmune hemolytic anemia.
And they need to look at blood in urine, and flu like symptoms differently
Supplying Glyconutritionals in the diet has enabled the body to modulate the immune system: elevate those elements that are too low, as in Cancer and AIDS; reduce those that are too high, as in autoimmune diseases; or do both, as in most of the immune dysfunctions!! This Modulation had been considered impossible-something never before seen in Medicine
Current Medical Viewpoint:
Metabolic Syndrome / Syndrome X
What is it?
Metabolic syndrome is a set of risk factors that includes: abdominal obesity, a decreased ability to process glucose (insulin resistance), dyslipidemia (unhealthy lipid levels), and hypertension. Patients who have this syndrome have been shown to be at an increased risk of developing cardiovascular disease and/or type 2 diabetes. Metabolic syndrome is a common condition that goes by many names (dysmetabolic syndrome, syndrome X, insulin resistance syndrome, obesity syndrome, and Reaven's syndrome), but few outside the medical community have heard of it. Most patients have been educated about the importance of checking their cholesterol levels, watching for signs of diabetes, having their blood pressure monitored, and exercising – but there has been little to tie all of these factors together except pursuit of a "healthier lifestyle."
The World Health Organization (WHO) was the first to publish an internationally accepted definition for metabolic syndrome in 1998, but the criteria that have received the most widespread acceptance and use are those proposed as part of ATP III (the third report of the National Cholesterol Education Program expert panel on Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Cholesterol in Adults). ATP III defines metabolic syndrome as involving three or more of the following:
Central/abdominal obesity as measured by waist circumference [Men - Greater than 40 inches (102 cm); Women - Greater than 35 inches (88 cm)] Fasting triglycerides greater than or equal to 150 mg/dL (1.69 mmol/L) HDL cholesterol [Men - Less than 40 mg/dL (1.04 mmol/L); Women - Less than 50 mg/ dL (1.29 mmol/L)] Blood pressure greater than or equal to 130/85 mm Hg Fasting glucose greater than or equal to 110 mg/dL (6.1 mmol/L)
Also frequently seen with metabolic syndrome but not included with the ATP III criteria are prothrombotic (blood clotting) and proinflammatory tendencies. While these combined criteria and risk factors do not usually cause overt symptoms, they are a warning of an increased likelihood of clogged arteries, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, kidney disease, and even premature death. If left untreated, complications from untreated metabolic syndrome can develop in as few as 15 years. Those patients who have metabolic syndrome and also smoke tend to have an even poorer prognosis.
In the U.S., it is estimated that 20% of adults (about 47 million) have metabolic syndrome, with the prevalence approaching 50% in the elderly. It can affect anyone at any age, but it is most frequently seen in those who are significantly overweight (with most of their excess fat in the abdominal area) and inactive.
The root cause of most cases of metabolic syndrome can be traced back to poor eating habits and a sedentary lifestyle. Some cases occur in those already diagnosed with hypertension and in those with poorly controlled diabetes; a few are thought to be linked to genetic factors that are still being researched.
All of the factors associated with metabolic syndrome are interrelated. Obesity and lack of exercise tend to lead to insulin resistance. Insulin resistance has a negative effect on lipid production, increasing VLDL (very low-density lipoprotein), LDL (low-density lipoprotein – the "bad" cholesterol), and triglyceride levels in the bloodstream and decreasing HDL (high-density lipoprotein – the "good" cholesterol). This can lead to fatty plaque deposits in the arteries which, over time, can lead to cardiovascular disease, blood clots, and strokes. Insulin resistance also leads to increased insulin and glucose levels in the blood. Excess insulin increases sodium retention by the kidneys, which increases blood pressure and can lead to hypertension. Chronically elevated glucose levels in turn damage blood vessels and organs, such as the kidneys, and may lead to diabetes.

There's a military mom-to-be now stationed in Japan who is 7 months pregnant. She's married to a military man who is a mechanic (has birth marks ... red blotches over a lot of his body). Doctor says baby's head is 4 weeks farther along in development than the rest of his body. And that the stomach is underdeveloped. She previously miscarried twins.
1. A interested, qualified principle professional investigator (that knows all we can provide is product at no cost) that will direct in choosing-
2. A definable test(s) to give objective data to correlate with a quantitative clinical assessment form for serial application. A general quality of life self-assessment is also maintained (virtually any health challenge improves during the study).
3. A population with the same diagnosis and abnormal findings in the above #2
4. Divide 20 such patients into two match groups for severity, sex, race, age as much a possible. All get standard medical management and for any and all complications that may come up.
5. Half will be the intervention group the other controls. At appropriate intervals the base line evaluation will be repeated. At anytime the intervention group is doing significantly better than the controls, the controls only are crossed over and the study continues.
