Behcet’s Disease (BD) is an autoimmune condition presenting with symptoms similar to Lupus, MS, Fibromyalgia, Crohn’s Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome plus others, some of which may or may not involve the neurological/Central Nervous System (CNS) and/or other organs. Obtaining a diagnosis can be an extremely lengthy, and oftentimes very frustrating process because of this.

Behcet's Disease knows no boundaries... neither does our Behcet-support group. We are worldwide with a diverse group of members from many different countries around the world.

The Behcet-support group is co-moderated by Marcia, whose daughter is a Behcet's patient, Mary, a Behcet's patient, and Joanne Z., a Behcet's patient and author. Marcia, Mary and Joanne, all live in the USA. They have been active in the Behcet’s community for a number of years and are also members and supporters of the American Behcet's Disease Assn.
