Subject: another newbie question for Diane
Hi Diane,
I read your story under files and find it very inspiring. Karen S., you and
Elaine are just wonderful people. I'm sure there is a special place in
heaven for all 3 of you. My son was diagnosed with pddnos at 19 months and
we immediatley went gfcf the next day. His eye contact improved 100% but
his digestive problems persisted. At 22 months we went scd but my son after
doing scd for 5 months could not tolerate the yogurt.........any kind. So
here we are today, he is 28 months and we have moved on to using the yck and
I pray that this does the trick for us.
My questions are:
Do you know anyone else who has used the bed diet and whose child has fully
recovered???
My son continues to be voraciously hungry (we have struggled with this for
so long)..........I'm so frustrated at him NEVER being full. Will this ever
get better. Some days I think I'm doing this all in vain! I'm giving the
yck and raw butter 1 month and then I will evaluate whether it has helped
his poops and his appetite and his energy. He has very very low energy.
But cognitively he is very high functioning. He is only 2.5 years old, I
hope to god that this diet helps........I'm really losing hope.
My son loves the yck and he has had some good things happen........fever,
full body rash that is gone and we have been on the raw butter for 4
days.........his last poop was formed.......I'm keeping my fingers crossed
that we are hitting a turning point.
But I have been giving him millet muffins.........I hope that isn't a bad
thing for him..............I just want him to have something bready.
Thanks for listening.............
I'm so happy that Thomas is doing so well..........I can imagine how happy
you must be (it gives a new definition to the word happy)!
