Re: [Bedbug Support Message] Gentrol Point Source vs Gentrol IGR Concentrate

I have to chime in, too.  Point Source is labeled for cockroaches, not bed bugs; but the actual amount of gentrol in point source is less than that in the liquid concentrate that would be added to a sprayer system for bed bug management.

Because Gentrol Point Source is labeled for cockroaches only. Meaning, it might be a waste of time and money to use it on bed bugs (not proven effective), aside from the legal issues of "what's written on the label is federal law". That law means more to a professional pest manager than an individual doing their own pest control. My feeling is that Gentrol Point Source will not help you control bed bugs. Those data that say "covers 75 square feet" and "Lasts 90 days" are for cockroaches.

and it seems quite user friendly as oppossed to having to mix and spray
concentrate. The "Point Source" covers 75 square feet and lasts for 90
days.

Could anyone advise me if there would be a reason not to use the Point
Source as opposed to the regular old concentrate?

Thanks,
