This group was created for San Francisco Bay Area (and its surroundings) optometrists. Members are welcome to discuss the profession, seek advice on patient care, post opportunities such as full time, part time, fill-in work, practices for sale, etc. Members must be currently licensed to practice optometry as verified by the California Optometry Board (http://www.optometry.ca.gov/).

An additional note from Group Moderator: This group was created October 2011 as a copycat to the yahoo groups established by/for optometrists in Houston and Dallas. Their group mostly serves as a source for doctors to post dates where last minute/upcoming relief is needed and any members who are available for work can reply. This has been an extremely efficient and reliable outlet for both the Houston and Dallas area optometrists, and I'm attempting to establish the same network for San Francisco.
