Rumors are making round that a BPO dealing with healthcare documentation has sent off 250 of its employees on a single day. Some have even put the total figure at 500. Some said the employees were being sent off because the company lost a few major contracts. Some others said the BPO division was just an experiment which failed, but since the company is very huge, it is hardly of any significance. Some felt it was because of recession in US. Some said the BPO was only sending out people with attitude problem or poor performance and they will continue their intake with new employees and higher salary package. Some said employees sent off got a compensation package of 30k to 40k.
