1. Does bangaloreMT.com send spam/junk mail to its members?
No bangaloreMT.com does not send spam/junk mails to its members.
2. How did I get an email from bangaloreMT.com which was a spam ?
There are some mails coming in the name of bangaloreMT.com, which contain nonsense messages. In reality the mails are not sent by bangaloreMT.com. Some people store their email addresses in their mailbox address book. When that computer is attacked by virus, it steals the addresses and then starts sending virus or spam messages to each and every address of address book using the address contained in the address book. The result would be that an email you think is from your friend ends up being actually sent by a virus program.
3. How do I make out mail is not fake?
If you are using yahoo mail, near the sender's (from) email id, you will find the message "Yahoo! DomainKeys has confirmed that this message was sent by yahoo.com" or "Yahoo! DomainKeys has confirmed that this message was sent by bangaloremt.com" or similar message.
4. Does bangaloreMT.com sell your email ids?
We do not sell your email id to anyone. Unlike in many other yahoogroups, in bangaloremt yahooroups, your email id remains hidden even to other members of your group. Your email id will be revealed to an MT company you are applying for, only when you apply for a job.
