I would keep with the counseling, join Weight Watchers for a great food program, and really be willing to again try to find out why food is your drug of choice. Truly, the weight problem/issue with food is in our heads.
I also think that dr Phil's book is good.
I am 6 and a half yrs out and have pretty much gotten my problem under control, but have never forgotten that it was a combination of approaches -- not just the gastric bypass that allowed me to come to this point of having a normal relationship with food which does not involve deprivation of any kind.
Good Luck,
Mary

Hello Everyone!
I haven't been around in a long time.
I had RNY with Dr Roe almost 7 years ago. I had done well and now I've gained back about 80 pounds. I am in counseling and still not motivated to lose the weight. I know I need to do something. I eat right and exercise for 3-4 weeks and lose weight and then I go off track again. I've been playing with this 80 pounds for about a year now.
Any ideas??
Beth
