They recommend that you not have diet/carbonated drinks because of the gas it produces when you drink it. It can make some people really uncomfortable, I have not had that happen to me. Everyone is different and can tolerate many different things. You just have to find out if it affects you. I can drink pretty much whatever I want but tend to stick to my water, unsweetened tea and my Diet A&W. Personally I love oj but it doesn't sit well and hurts me something fierce.
