Yeh, the odor thing is probably purely psychological. This odor is usually
"strongest" when I am aware of it (the buttons basically). And yes I do
have a VERY strong sense of smell anyway lol. To make myself feel better,
I've purposely smelled other plastic items and found the smell to be
similar to buttons, so that's all it is. But the fact I'm pretty disgusted
with buttons exaggerates EVERYTHING about them!! I was also surprised to
find on some website the overwhelming number of ppl who had the same
