Hi Lisa, nice to haer from you :-) I'm in the UK as is my daughter
(Claire who started this group) but I still think quite a few are

I find small ones better than large ones :-) I can wear a blouse
with tiny buttons if I have to, but I don't like it.

The worst ones for me are probably tortoiseshell and those big bi-
coloured ones you get on overcoats.

I'm just fine with snaps or even the metal buttons you get on jeans.
No problem at all. Odd isn't it?

I hope your fiancee can be understanding about it. Perhaps if he
reads some of the old messages on here he will realise that you
aren't the only one like this. Plus you really can't help it and it
is horrid for you. He should be sympathetic as it can be a big
problem for some people.

Hi All, I am joining as my 9 year old son has a phobia to buttons, he has done since he was 4 years old, I thought that it was just a faze, never thought there...
