My pet hate is duvet covers, pillows and cushions with buttons on.
EEEuuuwww! Usually they just have button fastenings but I walked into
a department store last week and they had a bed set out. They were
covered in buttons as decoration :-( So were the pillows, in a wide
stripe all down one side. Plus there were cushions that had one side
completely button-covered.
Imagine sleeping in that - you wouldn't be able to avoid THEM.
It was so disgusting!!
