I am doing that procedure with my infant, and it has been going
well. I was given the gold from my vaidya here in the US, who
got it from a trrusted source while she was back in India. The gold
is put inside an herb (that is in a stick-form, off the plant) and then
rubbed around a stone surface for just a tiny amount of the gold
to come off. The procedure is called Suttukara, I believe (or
swarnarashan, I can't remember which). I would get a referral
for a trusted vaidya in your area to get the proper materials for
you and instruct you in their application.

My 6 mo old daughter loves it! ( has done Suttukara since 2 mo)
and she's very healthy (with God's grace).
