Yes, quite strange feelings: it has taken so long to get to this point
and then a chapter of accidents for it to happen in a rush. I am _so_
pleased to have taken the
trouble to find a surgeon with whom I'm
happy - it took three attempts, but I'm glad I did.

I've been travelling so no real opportunity to go out. A little
splurge perhaps. I've lost 19 Kg pre. op and the last couple of
weeks
has been a bit psychologically weird, whereby I eat something and sort
of dare myself to gain weight as a result and then when I don't I have
to resist the temptation to 'up the ante'. Stupid mind games!
I must say knowing that post-sleeve the number of choices will
eventually be wide compared with a band, makes me glad I didn't go
down that path.

will do thanks Sue - and I look forward to catching up on your
progress. Biggest question is what the heck do people who sleep in the
nude do in hospital - I can't bring myself to buy/wear PJs. A négligée
perhaps :-?
