Thanks Lynne :-). I have transfered my stress/emotional eating from my
stomach to my tongue and fingers lol. I used food to stuff down what I
wanted to say. For example... "what's wrong"? my reply? -Nothing.
Then I'd go and eat 2, 3, 4 ...cheese sandwiches or a family bucket of
KFC (I'd give the dog the coleslaw). I can't do that now so I have to
verbalise what's wrong. If for whatever reason I am unable to do that
at the time, I will write - a bit of scrap paper will do. Then I have
a journal that I try to write in once a week - even if there is nothing
to say. I never journalled before the band. Oh, and I can go for a
walk too :-) Distraction is the key for me.
