My understanding of the so-called choking game is that it is aea but without
the e part meaning without the sexual part.

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the people
who treat you right. Forget about the ones who don't, and believe that
everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes
your
life, let it. Nobody said that life would be easy; they just promised that it
would be worth it.

I work at a hospital, and I read this one new article that mentions
this "choking game":

Can anyone here kindly confirm for me that this so-called "choking
game" is just another veiled reference to, or euphemistic phrase for,
AeA?
I just want to be sure I understand the lingo for how kids and
parents may actually be describing AeA.
Thank you for any feedback.
