I work at a hospital, and I read this one new article that mentions
this "choking game":

Can anyone here kindly confirm for me that this so-called "choking
game" is just another veiled reference to, or euphemistic phrase for,
AeA?

I just want to be sure I understand the lingo for how kids and
parents may actually be describing AeA.

Some say there is no connection. I don't believe that. Some kids do the choking game with just the blocking of oxygen. But some add the erotic element....
