Sorry to hear you are having a difficult time over a payout, especially at such
a hard and trying time. I lost my husband almost 8 yrs ago and it took almost 8
months for all the policies to be settled they too wanted coroner reports and
death certificates, it will happen it is just a matter of being patient, if i
were you I would leave it up to lawyers to deal with...that is what I did and I
concentrated on getting through the grieving and upset.

I was wanting to know if anyone had a problem collecting on an
accidental death policy with their deceased? My partner had a life
insurance policy and accidental death policy where me and his sister
were listed as the beneficiaries. The life insurance has paid out,
but the accidental death are dragging their feet and do a full
review, such as ordering the police report and coroner's report. Did
anyone have this same issue with an accidental death claim, and can
they provide me with any insight? The death certificate did list his
death as accidental.
My heart goes out to all of you who lost a loved one to Autoerotic
Asphyxiation. It has been the most difficult two months of my life. I
cry every day. It helps me to know that this was a fetish and not a
horrible thing Scott did. He did not do this on purpose. I personally
will never remove his pictures from our home. He was and will always
be a part of my life, and I will never forget him. If I ever find a
new love, they will have to understand what Scott meant to me and
that he will be with me forever.
Thanks for all your wonderful support.
Tom, Scott's partner.
