i am so sorry to see so many new members since i was last on this
site. i haven't been on in several months, perhaps a year -- and then
out of the blue i received a member email.
molly -- i don't know what it's like to find out so long after the
fact -- i'm sorry it happened that way -- but don't be too hard on
your mother -- as someone who also lost her husband to AeA (4 years
and 4 months ago), I did the same thing -- it's not really something
you feel comfortable discussing, like a heart attack -- you feel at
fault -- perhaps if you had been different he wouldn't have tried such
a thing -- when others know it's like they are looking into the most
private area of your life, normally reserved for just husband and
wife -- your mother was just trying to protect you and did what she
was able to do at the time --
