Hi DD,
I know your anguish. My husband of 20 years died this way about 4 years
ago. There is no "making sense" of it. It will never make sense. I have
found that time and God have gotten me through the worst trauma and now each
passing year puts me further into my "new normal". I choose to not dwell on
or think about him or what happened, but focus on my future, my kids, etc.
I'm sure it sounds hard and uncaring to many, but it is the way I have
coped. I hope you can find some comfort in knowing you are not alone in
this.
