Dr. Aparacio will teach the first workshop introducing the principles of Applied
Behavior Analysis (ABA) in Spanish. Once understood, the principles of ABA give
parents effective tools and techniques to understand their children’s behaviors,
encourage appropriate behavior, and teach self-help and communication skills.
Decades of research show ABA to be effective for children with autism and other
developmental disabilities. Whether you are starting a program to work with
your child, supplementing a school program, or are a teacher, family member or
friend who needs training, you will leave this workshop with a better
understanding of how to work and interact with the child effectively. Box lunch
provided. Childcare available. Space is limited so register early!
Registration: Register by October 10th to reserve your spot!
Childcare: There is a limited amount of childcare available for
families requiring it to attend this workshop and reserve childcare. No
children will be accepted without a reservation!
