If one doesn't lose a skill regularly enough,
with continued development,
there's the danger that one can lose it.
I had this with Paul's 17y speech, now non-vocal.
But I've been working on his spontaneous speech,
generation with my new imaginative techniques.
The best I can think of the minute is to:
eg: crawl backwards!
One needs a new pathway of development 2 follow.
Don't waste Ur time trying the old procedure U used B4,
where the pathway is damaged.
Sometimes a new environment, can also create new rulez.
A different toilet, a pink toilet seat,
a new person supervising perhaps.
There needs 2 B difference & change here.
Cut the socialisation, chatter, explaining,
non-vocal prompts R useful.

There's a link 2 potty training on

by a ASD family, Mother, Wendy.
I echoed this over 10 years ago,
on my now out of date ASD web-site.
