I know that when I originally asked a few weeks ago about these kind
of injustices towards our children it was hard for many to respond as
it brought back old memories. It was easy for the child that is no
longer here to respond - he ended his life. This is not something I
'want to' post about or wanted to even look at. After receiving
several hundred responses from parents about this going on at their
schools ( I have them and they keep pouring in ), I then added
Mandatory Jail Sentences for those that put our children into this
kind of Jeopardy into the Autism Reform Act of 2009. I'm sure most
all of you have seen the CNN reports :

MAKE THIS PUNISHABLE - Prison Sentence Automatic for exposing our kids
to this .. is within the Autism Reform ACT of 2009.

I don't even want to begin going into this as it brings back bad
memories for many - but this is TODAY's TRUTH. It was the Truth the
day I originally asked about Illegal Time Out across the Yahoo groups,
and it will still be the truth tomorrow unless we do something about
this as a nation. WE CAN. This is America - we have the ability to
vote. As long as we continue to turn our heads at the 'hard
questions' they will revisit us just as this did. To the 100's of
parents that responded offlist and to the 1000's that did on, Thank
you for being bold enough to tell me what, when, and where - now maybe
CNN can use some of this information and uncover some of this. Either
way it will revisit us... So please vote to END this for once and for
All - NO MORE DEBATE:

Now those that questioned my intent know it was not for my self
satisfaction or to do a morbid study. It's because I personally have
closed down dozens of these rooms in 5 diff. states.. what about the
other 45 ? LETS MAKE IT A CRIME to put these kids in these tortuous
rooms. Time Out can be used with a room divider and a chair. What
you see in that CNN Report is exactly what I saw when I shut them
down, and exactly what I wanted to find out about when I asked about
them.... For at least one child it is too late.. it doesn't have to be
too late for the next one.
