The Promise Keepers (I'm sure a Google search will find you their
official site) is a Christian men's movement that encourages men to take
back their proper role (according to the Bible) as the head of the
family. They are not given permission to abuse their families but are
taught and encouraged to support each member in true loving-kindness.

Many feminists think that this movement is detrimental to their cause.
I'm sure I have some relatives who agree with them. My Mom and I,
however, think that it's wonderful. There is more freedom for women to
be found in appropriate interpretation of Scripture than in completely
disregarding it.
